Early branding and app design work for the Latin American financial services “unicorn.”
The Work
Ualá is a rapidly growing Latin American neobank that has reached Unicorn status. The company counts Tencent, SoftBank, George Soros, Ribbit Capital and Goldman Sachs amongst its investors and recently closed $350MM in new funds at a $2.5B valuation. Ualá offers no-fee banking services via a vibrant, trustworthy, and easy-to-use mobile platform and has expanded services from its native Argentina to Mexico, Colombia, and more.
Narrative worked directly with Ualá’s founder and the early members of it’s in-house design team to develop the initial creative identity for the company, designing the logo, brand language, and day zero version of the app, as well as consulting on user experience and working on company collateral. Ualá has since grown rapidly and expanded its design systems significantly – don’t give us too much credit for this one.
